Weekly Photo Challenge: Arranged

The topic for this week’s challenge is ‘arranged’.  This is how it’s described on The Daily Post page:

Arranged.  Sometimes you chance across things which were arranged on purpose, or on a whim – find something in your environment which was arranged by a human hand for others to enjoy!

Share a picture that means ARRANGED to you.

Seems easy enough… but I ended up with way too many photos to choose from!  I narrowed the list, although it wasn’t by much, and came up with the following shots for this topic.

row of bottles colored wrappers bottle display
I liked the variety of colored wraps on this display of fruit juice bottles.
row of standing yellow barrels
Row of yellow barrels comprising a 'fence' of sorts at a local little league ball field.
colorful beach umbrellas white sand blue water
Pretty arrangement of beach chairs and umbrellas...
bicycles for rent row of bikes at Rosemary Beach
I've always called this shot "Handle It"! 🙂
hay bales in the field bales of hay
Arrangement of hay bales stretching back into the field.
oranges in blue colander kitchen photography
I like the pop of orange against the deep blue in this kitchen counter arrangement...

Almost finished – I promise!  lol!  🙂

red stirrers red stirring straws photo
Stir things up!

And finally —

stack of pans commercial kitchen silver baking pan stack photo
I love the lines and stacks of equipment in a professional kitchen. Last time I was in one this stack of pans just caught my eye... 🙂

I know that was a bunch of photos!  Thanks for sticking it out and making it to the end.  🙂  Let me know what you think… and as always – thanks for stopping by!

Also – make sure and check out what some of the other bloggers are posting for this challenge!  🙂

  1. These are all fantastic! I am glad you didn’t choose just one. My favorite is the hay bales, but each of the others are absolutely lovely too!

    1. More fantastic than what? Yours? No way! I thought you had some lovely entries in this challenge, Tania… 🙂 However – thank you for such a lovely compliment! 🙂

  2. Well, if we’re to follow the challenge strictly – arranged by human hand for others to enjoy – then it has to be the sun chairs and umbrellas arranged along the beach..on the other hand, my personal favorite is Handle It – composition and framing is excellent and the vibrancy of the image, despite it’s almost monochromatic palet, is just great.

    1. Thank you so much! I always wonder if anyone else would have composed ‘Handle It’ in the same way or if it would have more appeal cropped differently. Of all of them, it’s one of my favorites as well… Thank you very much for such wonderful input!

    1. I’ve always liked the barrels as well, but I couldn’t explain it either… I think we may be the only two that like that photo, but I’m glad to know I’m not alone. lol! Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thanks!! The funny thing about the pans is that it does come across as b&w but is actually in color. Most people that have seen it think it is done in black and white and have to go back and look again when I tell them it’s not. lol! I don’t think there’s any way to tell, but the lighting and angle were such that it didn’t pick up any other colors in the room – just the silvery white of the pans and the shadow. 🙂 The symmetry of the shot is something I’ve always liked as well – glad it spoke to you! And thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thank you very much! I was afraid the lighting wouldn’t completely capture just how vivid the oranges looked against the blue, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results… Thanks for stopping by!
